FYI, MDT has these on sale right now. 50% off on factory second models. Just picked one up for my Savage Mk II. Been eyeing these up for a while now and at that price I couldn't resist. Website says minor cosmetic blemishes, 100% functional. I'll post pictures of the blemishes when mine arrives if anyone is interested.

Yeah, I got one for my 10-22. I called them and checked if it would work with the heavy barreled VLEH model and they confirmed that it would. Yes, post the pics and I will too.
Cheers!

im stoked to see them on some rifles! I dont have anything needing one right now. Dont think they make them for 17hmr Mk2's lol

EDIT, they are actually... Damn... This is a HARD temptation

Hopefully they're not to bad looks wise. I ordered one for my savage. I've been looking at them for A while waiting for a good review. $200 brand new is prolly cheaper than a used one an since I'll use the gun in the field I know I'll mark it up anyway. If it's real bad ill have it stripped and powder coated I guess
Now to decide what but stock I want

I have a 8-32x50 scope on mine right now. It works with the factory plastic stock. Not quite a a full cheek weld but I'm not shooting off my jaw either. They lowered the buffer tube placement so ill need a riser. My rings are only .35" Weaver style on standard Weaver bases and I clear a 50 mm adjustable objective on a FV model

Mine arrived today for my savage mkii fvsr. I put a soft hogue beavertail grip on it and the skeleton buttstock. Hopefully I can get to the range tomorrow to try it out. Its stunning. If nothing else I can get my money’s worth staring at it. Hopefully I can buy the BA110 one day and have the big and small.

Got to the range with it today. Between this stock and my new vortex diamondback 4-16 I had no problems staying sub moa at 50 yards with a decent breeze at only 2 or 3 degrees using cci standard velocity. My stock was a factory second and the only imperfection I see is some rougher machining where the buffer tube attaches but its covered with ceracoat and barely noticable. I wish I would have bought two.

Heres a quick photo.

Mine arrived today. Looks like some pretty rough machining around the base where the receiver extension attaches but otherwise not bad at all. I certainly won't mind it considering it was 50% off.
