I have not said/written much, although I have been following the T81 threads "forever". Some people are darn right nasty in their comments towards the people at TI. I give the people at TI credit for staying COOL and sober under the pressure! Maybe we all should just put on our big boy panties and wait our turn---and yes I ordered a folder, extra mags and a quadrail on March 25, 2016 and has not had any change in my status of "deposit received", nor seen a tracking #.

Last orders shipped out will be affected. My order went from 8 promised mags per rifle (already shorted from what I had asked for) to now getting the minimum 3 per rifle. TI said that the mag shortage situation is worse than they originally thought, hence the double downgrade.
I was assured though that my order had been quality checked as requested for the known defects and may be at the post office but not scanned? Should go out today???
Also I have been promised an extra mag per rifle ordered, I expect they will extend this to all multi-rifle orders.

You think they're going to give us the 3rd bonus mag with their shortage? We'll be lucky if we get all 2 that the rifle comes with.
According to the emails some have received, any bonus mags would come in Q1 2018, not with your order. Apparently all rifles now shipping get 3 mags max. Everything else is delayed until next year.
How can something be "worse than they originally thought", do they not unpack the container and do an inventory lol? Hopefully my folder and mag allowance is here soon.
I don't think so...the smallest orders and the ones who ordered last should be the ones who get shorted on mags.......not the biggest orders and the ones who ordered first...still waiting on fixed with 7 mags and this was ordered April 2016......I'm getting 7 and that's that.....if 7 mags aren't in the box TI can for the return shipping and pay full refund for the " bent rifle" i received

At least you will get an extra mag for your troubles, if you are really lucky you might see it within the next year along with your other mags
Well I got my folder and 3 mags. I did not receive the additional 5 I purchased but the rifle is straight and looks fantastic so I am happy. I received a detailed letter explaining why I was shorted mags with an apology and full responsibility taken by TI for the shortage. Would have been nice to receive all the mags now but mistakes happen, they are only human.

Received my T81 Folder today (Pre-order since spring 2016). Looks and feels Great, she is as straight as an arrow. Will try her out this weekend.
Only got 3 mags (2 factory with rifle + 1 pre-order bonus). There was a letter explaining that I will get my extra mags with the next batch in early 2018 - oh well, life goes on...

From what I gather they accidentally assigned too much inventory to the website, so they were still accepting orders long after they were actually sold out of mags.
They must have only noticed the error after a good many rifles were shipped - almost all the fixed stock guns, I suspect. So if you ordered a fixed stock only, you probably got all your mags for the most part.
Sucks to be a folder guy

All the orders going out now only have 3 mags with them man... can't believe your still waiting for a fixed especially because you ordered in 2016...
Screw it. I'm cancelling my order. Shame, looks like a cool rifle... An extra mag and folder for someone else lol. Good luck all!

This is basically what happened from what I gather. Human error inputting the number of mags received. It happens. Sucks but they accepted full responsibility and apologized so I'll just wait patiently for my mags plus another free one which was good of them to offer. Apology accepted. No worries TI.
