Savage model 11 short action 308

OK guys I have taken the above rifle taken the barrel of and put a savage 50 cal muzzle loader barrel on it but the barrel i put on is larger and I don not want to open up the orginal stock so my question is can a different model stock say a 10 or 12 fit provide it had the same action screw spacing Thanks

Should be able to find a factory plastic take off from a heavy barrel for $25ish
