Appears as though this was made for baby little Chinese hands. Anyone change their grip for North American sized hands instead of this puny child's grip?

You can Buy the T97.ca LHG and put any AR grip on...

Or get a wrap around (like a hogue)

Or wrap it in hockey tape like a real Canadian.

Dude... that LGH costs almost as much as the whole rifle. I bet it's nice, but that makes zero sense economically. Wow.

Which wrap around fits it? Thx

I'll take the lesser route. Not putting $450 into a $700 firearm. That's silly.

Which size Hogue fits? I see they list small med large

I fitted a small on an A2 grip for my Mossberg 12Ga FLEX stock. It was hell to put it on but it doesn't even move with all those 00 bucks. The factory T97 grip is similar size like an A2 grip so I would go for the small....

Hahaha yeah, how silly, new trigger, grip, safety, mag release (if your lucky), improved ergos, what a waste. Nobody ever upgrades norincos cuz they are so cheap, never seen it. Lol. But more to the point of our story, wrap it in cord, or mastic tape, or whatever you can find. I doubt any hogue grips will fit, do they make one for a c96? It’s very skinny up at the top, maybe some heavy wall shrink tube? Trouble is, I felt it needed a longer backstrap so I wasted a bunch of money on a LHG. Silly me.

I made a backstrap kinda like MOE K2 and hockey taped it, it's amazing. I'll try and post pics later if you want. Cost me a small piece of plywood and some epoxy, plus the tape and a few hours with netflix on...

I was on the edge of putting it up for trade for another M305 socom 18/shorty to deck out with AR buttstock, but picking it up makes me want to keep and shoot it again. Thx for the reminder ah ah!

Yes - silly you. At that point just buy a used Tavor. You're defeating the purpose of buying a cheap Chinese rifle.

I had one of those too, it was ok, can’t really say it was better, the T97 with the t97.ca upper and lower was awesome, it’s hard to even compare the 2, completely different rifle. But I guess you’ll never know. My point was there are a lot of us that build norinco because they are cheap Chinese rifle, there’s an entire industry built around it. I was being sarcastic, my bad.

Having a T97 (formerly with the lhg) and a Tavor...

I can honest say the tavor wasn't that much better until I dropped in the Giselle trigger and lightning bow.

My tavor cost me $2600 and the T97 with LHG was $1500

Both were equally fun.

The only reason I am selling the T97 is because I am in the process or de-restricting my FS2000. And it beats all.

See I find that kind of funny. Maybe the FS I had was a poor example, but even with the lighter fore end it still felt heavier and didn't balance as nice as any other bullpup 5.56 rifle I have held and shot. The trigger was pretty gross to. Dont get me wrong, I love the FS for its uniqueness, and futuristic appearance, but I cant say I would sell something to buy another.

I'm very happy that nobody in this thread has been referring to the wraparounds as "Huge" or "Houge" grips, which seems to be more common than not in WTS ads.

Sport Chek sells the tennis racket rubber grips for $5. That's what I used. 100% improvement.

I'm planning on doing the same with my g17. For the price you really can't go wrong
