Instead of being busy feeling put upon, you know....getting the CGN treatment, why don't you stop defending yourself for a moment and consider what we are saying. Read what you first wrote....read how you responded to 3macs1 request for a picture....so he would know exactly what YOU are looking for.

Do you ever consider how your own efforts at communication help or undermine your objectives? :bangHead:

One thing is for sure...this thread is 3 pages deep and I still dont know what the shell bag in question looks like or what the OP is looking for. Point being, this thread has been entertaining for other reasons, but a fail at best!

Like I said earlier - check the Birchwood Casey web site like I did.

While you guys have been getting bent out of shape, I made a phone call to Birchwood Casey asking for a Canadian supplier/distributor. My wife took the call while I was outside working. Answer - they don't have any. Which begs the question: How do all those targets and cleaning products get into the country? Nor will they ship direct to Canada for some reason related to the waxed coating!

They will ship it to a US address if paid for from a US account. Fortunately, I am able to arrange this. As for seeing this product on dealers shelves any time soon - fuggedaboudit!

Ok, so I found this beauty looking shotgun in a local store here and which would go along really nicely with the 'Birchwood Casey Shotshell Bag". The two would be the perfect match ...!! And I mean ... perfect match!!!

However, I am not so knowledgeable about those guns and I am hesitant to buy it ...
Can somebody fly out to Montreal and visit the dealer ... have a look at the gun and provide me with your feedback?
That would be much appreciated .... let me know ...

Better even, ... if several of you could fly out to Montreal .....

Having been in the distribution business myself, this makes me wonder if they used to have a Canadian distributor (that why we see stuff) but they don't anymore. As for the US address thing...I do that all the time with a friend in Texas.
 
It took you two days to get a response from BC and for two days you keep telling people willing to help you cut your wait time to go look at some other site. Dude, no one cares what you are looking for. The fact that your ridiculous demands have even received a response is a testament to the willingness of members to help a fellow CGN’r. You need to give your head a shake. Glad you got an answer from BC USA. I hope it cost you a long distance call so in one months time, you’ll receive a phone bill to remind you that you bit the hand that tried to feed you
 
I don't recall making any "demands", let alone any "ridiculous" ones. Actually, I got an answer within the hour by having the initiative to pick up the phone whereas you guys couldn't be bothered to google BC's website to see the bag in question and you have the nerve to refer to me as "lazy".

Hate to disappoint you, but we have a long distance phone plan with unlimited long distance calls anywhere for peanuts. Again - thanks for all your help and time. Now direct your hate towards those that would disarm us and not a fellow gun owner, but this being CGN, not much chance of that happening.
