yeah and my next order will be a free shipping one, i can see hows that's ideal. also with my new 284 build ill want a few pound from the same lot.
i basically just posted that because the OP said it was an EXTRA 122 dollars for shipping 2 pounds, i was getting at for 133 you can get 3 pounds and not pay the original fee that the 122 was additional too. [ although as your pointed out, i am wrong in this case and the prices have gone up quite a bit]
also it was 3 pounds of titegroup, it was 30 dollars a pound, it was about 2 months before the liberals got in, then i noticed that same week powder went up in price. i havnt looked into buying powder since then i was given quite a bit for me needs. im pretty surprised to hears it up to 45 a pound now. and after reading your post, im going to look into better prices, i went with them because i needed 43 Mauser brass and they had it in stock.
i planned on make my next order from western metal and getting the free shipping
WM sells titegroup for 31$/pound, so close to the price you paid. The free shippers:
-Canada ammo (minimum 200$)
-Western metal (minimum 300$)
-Amazon.ca (minimum 35$, no reloading components, but lots of Lee, RCBS, Lyman, and frankford arsenal tools)
The cheap/free shippers:
-Tenda (hazmat fee on powder, but free shipping on everything else)
-Cabelas(insane hazmat fee on powder, but free shipping on everything else)
-Xreload (no free shipping, but decent shipping cost and low prices, so often ends up cheaper than free shippers, and the best selection on a lot of stuff)
Canam and WM are by far my largest providers. Bullets are heavy and cost a lot to ship, and powders requires hazmat fees, so if you remove both of these fees from the total, they usually end up with the lowest total. 200$ and 300$ minimum to ship free is like nothing if you reload large batches. It'll cost you about 480$ for the components to reload 3000 9mm, so I just order that.
