Another BCL-102 Review

I wish I could do more testing of my rifle but I just don't have the time or funds as a student. Maybe over Christmas break :p That being said I look forward to getting the 223 version in the future when I can afford it!

there will not be a 223 version of the 102, but bcl has many new guns in development, supposed to be released later next year.

So 2019 by they time they make it out of the paint shop?
I think they should focus on getting the 102 right before they start working on new projects. I'd rather see a company make one rifle correctly 100% of the time than make a bunch of different models correctly some of the time.
Really just seems like they need a QC department that is run by a qualified competent staff rather than a bunch of homeless people they found on the street willing to put a checkmark in the OK box for a bowl of soup and a dry bed in the back room of the shop to sleep in.

I have been thinking the same thing for some time now.

I’ll make an IOP listing on the website this weekend so people can sign up for the out of stock notification. The price will show $1749.99 but we’ll adjust it when we add them.

As posted by Chemist. If you're not 100% sure, check the threads.

Lol, Because all information on CGN is 100% fact and no one ever posts opinion or what they think or what they heard.
This must be what they consider to be a while.

Crazy how people that have no intentions of buying a gun have enough time to comment constantly in a forum that really shouldn't affect them any.

Everything here with a grain of salt, but that's from the horse's mouth. If it happens or not, is up to Ryan at SFRC, as that is his words. If it's not on their site, I'm sure he'll answer to that. Seems to be reasonably proactive. I received stellar service from them.

I also believe he said there would be a limited number for IOP. No definitive number given. Again, that's up to him.

Aaaaaaaaand......

See the IOP thread.

I'm not eligible so don't look for it, also don't go on SFRC page since I'm still waiting to see how batch/gen 2 works out for reliability and build quality before I get serious about buying a 102. Some day maybe but I'm not dropping $2000 on a rifle that is less likely than a Norinco to be reliable.
I only commented about the IOP because I remembered Ryan posting back during gen 1 deliveries that IOP wouldn't be available for a while.
