I'm sure they'll have them at SHOT. I guess there'll be some interest in them... but for myself it's "thanks, but no thanks, Remington."

How many shells does the mag hold? Doesn't look like it's compatible with the mag fed grizzly unfortunately, I like the pistol grip fixed stock version. Looks pretty good.

The old DA Grizzlies had a hard fixed pistol grip attached to the folding stock mechanism as a single piece.
Very cool little shotguns. One heck of a novelty at one heck of a price is all it really was though. I bought it for fun and it actually surprised me how well it was made and how tough it was.
I couldn't break the thing if I tried and it slung slugs with ease using the ghost sights. We were hitting plates with it out to 70 meters with relative ease.
The thing was they were around $270 back then.
I cringe in anticipation at the Remington price for this DA copy lol

I remember those, I put a Mesa tactical leo stock on mine and love it. Pistol grip on a mag fed 12g looks better than a reg field stock as far as I'm concerned, interesting to see their take on the magwell compared to the grizzly.

Just read one of the Rem promo's claiming it was "designed from the ground up".... sure looks like they took a basic 870 and bolted on a magwell.
Hard to believe something this stupid looking is being made in America today by Remington.

Smarter to bolt on the magwell, that is if you can unbolt it add a shell lifter to the trigger group and have the opening of the tube mag still there. I know my grizzly isn't designed like that with its pressed in magwell, would be smart of Remington if it turns out you can easily change from one to the other.

My mag fed grizzly has the tube with spring but no openeing for a follower, have always thought it would be nice if it was convertible.

I've got no strong opinions on this idea, one way or the other. I guess if pressed, I'd probably prefer the standard gun, and the ability to easily top up my magazine with a round or two whenever I want. Cosmetically, I don't really think these guns look any worse than a standard Express all-black gun.

But, wow...that magazine looks as though it could be bent and/or broken by a mean look or a harsh word. Those "antlers" at the back are just asking to be damaged.
