4 elk illegally killed by hunters shooting onto private property without permission

That's kinda like saying the penalty for driving without a license should be a lifetime ban on driving. The penalty is no penalty at all if you weren't following the law in the first place.

poachers are poachers , color of skin, gender or ethnic background means nothing but i see no mention of natives in the report other than here by the same native bashing clowns. I hunt up that way for elk every year...... 99% of the hunters are east indian , sorry south asian..... and caucasian. Lots of em are gas plant workers. So if I were a gas plant hating kinda guy maybe I'd just jump to conclusions and blame the gas plant workers out poaching for friday night BBQ? nah, that wouldn't be a cool thing to do either...... let's just bash some natives instead eh?

How do you know they are not Natives?

I hope the poachers are caught, that land owner must have Two basket balls in his pants to confront people during the commission of a crime.
I also hope the meat from the animals won't be wasted.

I enjoy coming to this site, I would not risk my account by talking about other races.

Nothing racists about the truth....if a status Indian shoots an animal out of regular hunting season it is not poaching. ...period.

It is subsistence hunting which they have the legal right to do.

Is it fair? He'll no but it is what it is and I sure won't sugar coat it to make the anti white crowd happy.

Don't make the assumption it's poaching until the whole story is out...maybe it was poaching by a non status individual or maybe it wasn't.

One group can one group can't!

Not trying to stoke the fires . But I,ve been around hunting since back in the 19 seventies . Of the I think 3 encounters with poachers , all were middle Europeans , ie Russian polish Czech types , sounding guys .

This^^^^^ I was being sarcastic......but I also agree that alot of the time 1st Nations are taking MORE than is sustainable!

We are ALL stakeholders ...because once the game is gone they are gone for good!

I actually found an Elk this year that was shot on farm land .....It was dragged into the Provincial Forest and hastilly butchered and made to look like 1st Nations did it. I called out COs and we followed tracks right back to where it went to home quarter. Where it went from there i do not know.

I grew up on a Farm......farmers are notoriously known for poaching. My dad was a poacher....may he R.I.P.

Nothing wrong with thinking that way. Everyone knows racism is a divisive and poor practice, yet some people do it anyway. Nothing wrong with standing up against people like that or speaking your mind about it either.
