I very much appreciate the offer, but someone local would be the best option for me as there will be a lot of back and fourth, prototype testing, etc.

And I don't want to hold on to someone's gun too long.

Know who owns that? And if they would make the cad files available? I'd rip a couple off on the CNC and see if I could get them to work.

I have messaged for a trade on that one.

But unfortunately I cannot afford to drop that kind of money every time I think up a new Idea.

I am hoping for someone local that I could build a relationship with as I am sure that another Ottawa gun owner and I can get along just fine.
