Hastings 870 12 ga. barrels in Canada ?

I have only seen them in 24 inch..thats what I have.love it and would like to find another one.

Cabelas canada has a remington 20" rifled with just express finish in stock but it is quite expensive at $300 IMO

Suppose I could get a 24" cut down. Would make for an expensive rig though !

I love the 24 swings great short enough in the bush.i do a lot if dogging

Looking for a Hastings 12 ga. 870 slug barrel 20" length.

I see Tradex has a couple models. Available anywhere else in Canada ?

Tradex is the only source that I could find ... and I have been searching for a while .... :-(

I bought the 12ga 20" one from Tradex and I don't regret it ....

I can shoot 2.5 inch groups at 100m with Federal PowerShok 1oz Sabots slugs (F127SS2) ....

Now I would love to try the 26" heavy barrel from Hastings ... just to see if accuracy would be better ....
but importing that barrel is very costly .... :-(

The Federal Power Shok 1 oz. sabot slugs are really accurate in my 1200 fully rifled Winchester pump also. A bonus is that they are the cheapest slug you can buy suitable for rifled bores. I also find a 24" barrel on a shotgun made for slugs carries and points very nice. Just a shout out for the Federal slug offering.

That's what I shoot in my 870 with Hastings barrle. So far so good.and I like the price.lol

Have a LH 870. Hastings makes a slug barrel, but ~$500 CAD is a little much for my budget.
