I just installed a surefire War Comp. It installed via shims and not crush washer

shims included as stated above, although you could install with a crush washer if youd prefer, but the shims are included, so... lol
also, pending on which muzzle device you bought, you may need a thin armourers wrench. the slots are small and a regular 3/4 wrench wont fit. Magpul Armourers wrench is too thick as well.

you should be ok. a crows foot 3/4 will do.
