Kimber Classic Select? ....
Oh yes, they are among my favs too ... especially my stainless versions, which unfortunately are no longer available
One thing though, D4Dave1 .. you say that you "really like quality wood on a rifle and the Classic Select stock is beautiful. But...only available with a blind mag" ..
.. but (unless Kimber has recently changed their product), they have hinged floorplates, not blind mags ... see photos of mine below :
The upper rifle in each pic is in 7mm-08 ... the lower in .308 .... and, as you can see, both have hinged floorplates.
And in case you are interested ...
Because I hunt with the composite-stocked Montanas, both of these Kimbers are MINT safe-queens:
And D4Dave1, if you really do want something like this, and might like one in .308 (perhaps with a 2nd stainless barrel in .243), send me a PM

Because I hunt with the composite-stocked Montanas, both of these Kimbers are MINT safe-queens:
- the 7mm-08 (swirley AAA walnut) is unfired,
- the .308 (tiger-stripe AAA walnut) has had 2 boxes of ammo through it, at the range only.
And D4Dave1, if you really do want something like this, and might like one in .308 (perhaps with a 2nd stainless barrel in .243), send me a PM
