Help identifing value of Winchester model 94 and 64

They said they made some Model 64 in the 70's , but they are not well made, not like the early one's!

Production of the Model 64 began in late 1932, and two variants were offered; (1) the standard Rifle, and (2) the Deer Rifle. Many collectors refer to the Deer Rifle as a “Deluxe”. Throughout its entire production, the Model 64 was serialized in the Model 94 serial number range. Production of the Model 64 ended in late 1957, with an estimated at 66,783 manufactured, but that estimate may be too low.

That was with the Delux model.

Im fairly certain the front sling swivel should be apart of the end cap especially in a earlier model but does indeed look like a nice solid shooter,

I messed up on the dates with something else. It was registered to the RCMP pre WW2. Trying to unravel the onion skin paper registration without destroying it.

If I get a serial number could I gauge the date from that?

Not an RCMP rifle but registered to the RCMP.

I have just recently seen two very nice all original 64s for 700 bucks each. If I didn't already have several I probably would have bought them. As to the commemorative I have no love for them nor enough experience to hazard a guess as to value. To me they are worth about 400 bucks as a poorly made (most I have seen) 94.

I had a couple of very nice 64's one with peep and one without and best offers I could get was $700 - 750

Someone might want it. There are strange people who desire such things. But to me it would be worth less than a standard Post-64 shooter due to it's gaudiness. To me, a Post-64 M94 is a $200 gun. I wouldn't pay over that for a Commemorative" model. Someone might, but when you can get a Pre-64 in the $450 range, why would you pay more for less?
