Any reloading mentors in the Kawarthas...East GTA

So.....after a year of buying a Progressive Hornady press I have yet to put it into production. Summer is taken up with fishing.....I am comfortable loading rifle on a single stage, but now want to get this Hornady Lock & n Load AP into production for 9 mm!! Would be great if a mentor was in my area to ask a few questions and give a little advice...I live in East GTA region. Let me know.

I have a Dillon progressive press so I don’t think I’d be able to offer you much advise. I bet there’s a few good vids on setup and running the Hornady online.

This is the Information Age! There’s lots of people giving it away on YouTube for the low low price of observing some ads.

I'd help but sadly without wheels and not very close to your neck of the woods. Pretty familiar with the LNL AP as well. Lotsa vids on youtube. There's a particular series a guy did that gives you a lot of tips on what can go wrong, how to fix the problem etc. I'll see if I can those vids.

I'm not an expert by any means. But I reload pistol rounds on a Hornady LnL AP press (and a Lee turret press) if I can help in any way, let me know via pm and we can take it from there.

Well thanks to you both....I shoot occasionally at Peterborough PRPC and more at Easthill Outdoors now....just looking for people with practical experience with progressives....most I can figure out but sometimes nice to meet others in region who are into hand loading..

There are alot of good dudes on this site that can guide you. the one thing that I can say about loading pistol on any kind of press is check out the Dillon pistol dies. I have used Lee, and RCBS (mostly because all my rifle dies are RCBS) but once you buy a set of Dillon pistol dies you won't buy any others.I have since sold all my other pistol dies for whatever I could get for them. With that hat being said Lee offers some very nice factory crimp dies (that is the only Lee product in my entire gun room). And for all those guys out there that say a single stage press is the way to go for accuracy they have not owned a Dillon 550B.
