Does anyone know if these are in Canada or will be coming?

I`d love one in 357 Mag!

The cartridge choices are clearly based on the H&R hot movers... nice weight, "if" it is well balanced... but that is the ugliest action release lever that I have ever seen on a break action rifle.

One in 44 mag might be fun.

That's what I was thinking. Although at 479.99 US, I don't see the value once landed up here. That'll be $620 ish at straight exchange at today's rate, not counting the Canadian mark ups and import fees. I don't think it'll be much farther off than a Henry in .44 mag

I'm in for a 35 Whelen and 45/70 if priced right. The exchange and import fees are what kept me from buying the cva scout v2. Traditions has a much larger distribution in Canada.
Seems the calibers are based on state restrictions of pistol calibers and straight walled and 35+ caliber for Iowa Ohio and Michigan among others

The only other option is a ruger #1 or a fancy german import. There will always be those who buy the cheapest in each class
I wish they'd be $3-400 but I'd be willing to spend up to $500 for a single in a 35 Whelen if it handles like my buck stalker muzzleloader
A bolt action in that caliber would still be 3 times the price for something I'd like

Henry at least has some basic refinements made during the machining and finishing process, as well as the brasslite receivers. I like H&R's, but they mostly feel like they were turned out as quickly as possible with no consideration given to fit and finish. Much like the comparison of a 10 year old neon and a new Lexus.

Ok. I was just curious. I think I'd opt for a different platform for a range plinker myself although I do love hunting with single shot guns
If you do get one plz post a review
I love my buck stalker from traditions even if it's the least accurate rifle I've ever owned. I've shot 4 of my biggest bucks with it
