Played hooky from work this afternoon and went hunting with my son and ended my deer season. Headed out around 130pm and set up about 2:20 pm. I am not usually a fan of selfies but at some point I decided to take pic of my shooting lane and the camera happened to be in selfie mode and when I saw how crazy I looked I just couldn't resist:

This is the pic I was trying to take:

He field dressed 209 lbs for an estimated live weight of 265 lbs.

Ok, so there was no bite.
What brand head did you use?
Did you find it after the through and through?
Some of us lead chuckers need to see the weapons of such mass destruction.
Rob

Weapon of choice was an Excalibur Micro 335 Nightmare. Used 16.5 inch factory Excalibur carbon bolts (I think they are re-branded Eastons) tipped with 125 grain Montec G5 fixed blade broadheads. I searched for the bolt and head but no luck - lost in the snow until next spring. Shot was at 22 yards slight quartering towards. Double lung pass thru. Deer went about 125 yards before piling up. Snow made for easy tracking. I was sitting on the ground in full snow camo hiding behind a blown down tree that provided good cover and a nice shooting rest. Blow down was at the top of small ravine that was probably 25 feet higher than where the buck was when I shot him.
