Yep, I seat as I charged as well but I find that it's too slow, I prefer to load all 300 cases then load them all, 2 charged master are good for now.

Money is not an objection for me since I work way too much already but I prefer a bit more speed, I rather spend more time shooting than sitting at the bench also for PRS shooting style, RCBS charged master is good enough for me.
 
The auto throw/auto trickler combo is amazing. Just got it tonight and put it together. It dispenses faster than I can seat the bullets and it is accurate to +/- a kernel of Varget. Until you get a Prometheus at 3x the cost I doubt you can beat it.

I hope you didn’t buy from Woodbury outfitters on amazon.ca. I liked the 213 price too! I bought one in November. My order was ‘lost’ once it entered the US shipping facility. According to amazon, it was delivered to me in Elk point , IL. Signed for by ‘Jorge’. Wrong side of the continent, wrong country. Then they kept sending me links to a tracking site that never updated. They made a shipping label out for Canada Post, but CP never got it. The seller has given me nothing more than plattitudes to fix it. Filed an Amazon A-Z claim. Can’t wait to leave a review for them...

Price was too good to be true. I’m sure Jorge is enjoying his scale.

Seating as i charge is actually quick in my mind, if i'm sitting at the same spot.
As when i finish seating my bullet the next powder charge is already finished trickling.
No down time whatsoever.
I'm just a plinker (as in not competing yet), my ex-chargemaster did the job, wanted to take powder charge equation out of the picture for accuracy.

Probably stuck at customs.

I admit the UPS->CP shipping is frustrating. Once UPS delivers to CP, we can't track. UPS should give us the CP tracking#. At least with amzn you can't lose your money.

I have had the auto trickler for awhile, I bought the Gen 2 pretty much as soon as it came out. My previous set up was that I had a RCBS thrower and some copper pipe that would dump into a pan and then the trickler would kick in to finish it off. It was a pretty good system and once in a groove you could load pretty fast.

With the auto throw now I think I am loading about as fast as possible (for me)

I use to throw all the charges and then load but I found it slower.

Is this set up way better than a CM? I don't really think so but for me it is faster and more accurate. If I had a smaller budget I would have no problem running a CM or something similar.
 
My opinion is it is junk. 3 in 10 throws are ok the others are over. I tried slowing it down, straw, removing all power cords around it but it's own and nothing made it throw the set amount. I would not recommend it to anyone. I contacted Hornady but never heard back.

Interesting. Dumb question but you had it set on slow? It defaults to medium and when I forget about that it throws over 90% of the time.

I don't use it for ball, my cheapo 25 year old Lee thrower dumps perfect charges every time... crazy for such a cheap piece of kit.
 
Just made it 10 minutes into video and had to stop, to painfull to watch.
This is the less convincing trickler sale video i have ever seen!

Not dumb at all; yeah I had played around with the settings -- even the undocumented ones -- and slowed it down. That definitely did help but it didn't eliminate the issue.

People laugh when I praise that cheap Lee thrower but that damned thing, once set, was awesome in its accuracy and they're cheap enough you can buy a bunch and set them up for each cartridge you load for if you want. I still keep one around just in case I ever need it and I have a Hornady LNL Powder Measure that costs 5 times as much just sitting in a box.

I got the same thing...signed by jorge in chicago. It took awhile but my unit arrived and not one cent in duty charges. So i got it delivered for 213.00. Lucked out i guess. I hope you get everything straightened out. Loaded up 80 rnds of .308 using realoader 15. Man i love this thing. Is plenty accurate for me. Through 2 overcharges out of 80. I scaled about 50% of the charges on a seperate scale and they all where within .1 hopefully it holds up
