So are any of those rifles fully auto, or all semi auto?

It's funny how we can get brand new (sport) semi auto military rifles that hit the civilian market, simply because there is no OIC/law that would prohibit them. All those new military style rifles hitting the market also haven't been used in any shootings either, yet they are enemy number one for the anti's.

What a backwards mess our laws are.

They are all neutered semi-auto - either 12(5) manufactured as a semi, or 12(3) Converted Auto. I was too young in 1978 to get the 12(2) endorsement for Full-Autos.

You need to establish as a licensed forearms business at your home address and setup a prohib rated indoor range on premises.

That Galil is my favourite...I always had a soft spot for them, although I've never shot one or even seen one in person. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't considered the AUG in the EE but I remembered it's 12.4 not 12.5. I've got an old Ishapore 1A1 in the depths on the gun safe that I'm only keeping to maintain my 12.5; I enjoy the SG542 much more.

You could do very well charging people a nominal fee to do this---hypothetically of course :)

Lol, I'd do it for free as long as I get to play, only illegal if you get caught :p
I don't understand our stupid gun laws at all, none of those are any more dangerous than a $200 SKS yet those lucky enough to own one are not allowed to even take them to a range. It's F'n idiotic.
