I'm looking for some of the Hornady 45 ACP Zombie-Max bullets.

I bought 4 boxes in 2016 from Al Flaherty's, but checking out his website today, he has none left in either 9mm or in 45 ACP.

Anyone know about any other vendor out there who has some in stock currently?

Not sure why they would discontinue it. I'd sure buy some. It's not about there being zombies it's about good quality ammo and the "fun" of it. Niche rounds are great. Things like 22lr rat shot, defender 12ga Slugs with 3 ball, 9mm lite with pink tips for ladies....
Maybe it didn't sell as well as hoped in America or is the zombie craze over? Not sure about you but I'm afraid of mini robot drones zombies are so last year.

When Hornady first brought the Zombie line of ammunition out they wanted to have a little fun with the ammo market. I was at the Hornady factory when the line was launched and Jason Hornady told me they didn't want to get "stuck" with unsold product so they priced it at wholesale the same as the other lines to make sure they would get a sell through. The retail dealers and consumers couldn't get enough initially and several additional runs of various calibers were produced. Phil.
 
There's a pile of Zombie Max in .380 Auto still left in the Calgary WSS as of yesterday, it's 45% off now, on the off chance anyone is interested.
