Unimog 406

The only thing better than one Unimog is two! I do hope it snows this winter. 

We had one at work for towing around airplanes. The brakes give lots of problems with heavy use (think about how much the brakes are used when putting an airplane in a hangar), other than that they are pretty much bulletproof. Ours was a little newer than yours. I think we still have it down behind the maintenance garage.

We were carted around in these in the army (South Africa Medical Service) in RSA. Awesome vehicle!

Let me know if she is for sale please. John@wolverinesupplies.com Thanks John

I love the idea of having one of those, what a cool, capable machine, that will take you anywhere. You may be the slowest getting there but by the end of the trail you'll be towing the other 15 trucks that got stuck/broken :) I'd rig up some kind of winch/lift for the bed to lift deer etc up.

a very interesting machine . i have seen a couple in our area of south western ont. and they were considered farm vehicles and ran the roads without plates . they were owned by farm owners from across the pond.there is one in pieces in a farm shed close to me that the owner has plans of rebuilding.have fun with yours .
