Does anyone know where I can find S&W after market revolver sights in Canada, I despise the factory ones. Looking for gold bead, night sights or good quality fibre front.
 
I was looking for the same thing. Apparently there are only a few places like Freedom Ventures but when I checked into it, they have a 6-8 week wait time as well. They said there is not much call for that kind of stuff. I am sure they just wait until they have a big enough order to make it worth their while to place an order with an American company. If you can't get it from Brownells, I have not found any where else.
 
Good to know, maybe I will just order from brownells and cross my fingers.

Revolvers are making a come back, dealers need to stock sights :D
 
I would highly recommend a gold bead sight. My 625 came with one and I'm very pleased with how easy/fast it is to acquire on target.....
 
Give Epps a call, they have a lot of unusual parts in stock many times. Ive found stuff there that nobody else had in stock.
 
LPA in the States sells awesome sights and will ship to Canada. I got a set for my 929 with the FO front.I sent it to Murray Charlton to get the from sight installed since it needs to be drilled and I was getting other work done at the same time. They are hundreds of times better than stock.

RK custom guns made this sight for my smith 629. Be cheaper and better if you have to send the gun away to have the sight fitted.

SDM gold bead will run you 58 us 29 for fibre optic plus 16 us shippinp. When it gets to Canada it will probably get flag by customs who charge you 11.5 service fee plus tax on the item. So from brownells your 29 dollar sight will be about 70.00 shipped to your door. Gold bead will be a bit more like 110.00
 
Contact Murry Charlton in BC. I sent him my model 66 and had him install a fiber optic front sight and rear sight to go with it. It was about $130 installed.
 
Put a reflex sight on it and have the best of all worlds the LPA set-up will cost you almost as much. The gold bead sucks unless the light is just right indoors or out.
 
I got a nice LPA sight for my model 29 from Wanstalls. They don't seem to have any revolver sights in right now but you might ask them.
