The A.H. Fox Collectors Association has unanimously agreed that the new Savage Fox A Grade is not considered an AH Fox gun for our AHFGCA events. We consider it no more of an AH Fox gun than the Savage Fox Model B. The appearance of the gun has some similarities to AH Fox guns, but the inner workings, round body, the forend latch and the top lever/spindle are not AH Fox designs. We recognize Philly, Utica and CSMC guns.
Well after reading the statement of a member of the A.H. Fox Collectors Association I wonder how the first thought to cross my mind was “could you please pass the Grey Poupon?”
Of course I’m sure the AHFGCA understands this IS a CSMC gun, right? Just not one of Mr Fox’s designs.
Of course James. But a world apart from the Fox guns they started building in 1993.

For 5 grand , on an American made shotgun, I'd want at least a GOLD bead front sight, not brass. Better yet, how about an interchangable front sight set made of different sized DIAMONDS..... 1 ct down to 0.1 ct. The big diamond for fast action and the smaller ones for longer range fine aim shots (like an unexpected poke at a turkey )
All kidding aside, If I had the moolah , I would love to own that sweet wood/blued gun.
