Norinco Glock?! Say it ain't so!

If Norinco decides to build a Glock Clone, it will be a good pistol.

Why? Because the Glock was designed to be mass produced by CNCs, stampings and plastic injection machines. Set up the tooling properly and basically flip a switch.

All of these facilities are available to Norinco. No gunsmithing really necessary. So the comments of erratic Norinco pistol quality, i.e. 1911, does not apply to a pistol like the Glock.

Trade partners buying BC Coal and Sudbury Nickel to make the excellent steel from which Norinco 1011 pistols are built.
To follow your "they are the enemy" logic.
the more Norinco guns we buy, the fewer guns will be left for this "enemy" to attack us!

I have lived and worked in the USA. I have family who have US Citizenship.
I would not go back for any reason.
I am Canadian, and glad to live in this great country.

Edited to add....China also buys the Iron ore that goes into those very useable firearms.

.... Not my enemy.

Most of the coal they use to make the steel now comes from the US - they've turned away 500,000,000 tons of NK coal and replaced it with US coal. A deal which you never heard about in the media, because Trump brokered it.

The only way I'd willingly choose living in Canada over the U.S. is if I had a time machine and could go back at least 30 years.

And the only time I'd choose a Norinco Glock clone is if the alternative was a Khyber Pass copy made out of melted toothbrushes and pot metal.

Really! The media failed to report it because Trump brokered it...are you serious? As to coal shipments trains go through Terrace two to three times a week carrying coal to China. I suspect Vancouver has even higher volumes. The trains used to roll past Mission daily- probbably still do. I would suggest 500,000,000 tons of coal would have been up and down the NEWS networks eg Fox NEWS for instance. So would have Trump. The latter is a certainty. FY! US coal exports this year may reach 89 million tons for 2017 pf which 18 million tons went to Asia. China received 4 million tons. Google the information yourself. The price of coal has more to do with coal shipments from the US than anything Trump has done. I doubt he brkered a coal deal that would last for over 100 years based on the 2017 record exports.

Trump will be lucky to survive his term of office before impeachment proceedings are started ...figure 2019 at the latest.

LOL Impeachment- Oh yeahh.. The Russians did it right? More ludicrous B.S.- Wish we had a 'Leader' like they do across the boarder! Then maybe our Politics would be much more interesting/involved for more of us. IF anyone believes all the lies instead of the Actual facts- Brain dead much-

No more likely money laundering via Deutsche Bank AG out of Germany. If you don't believe the Russians hacked into the US election last year or that members of the Trump organization did not meet with the Russians during the election for political purposes then you also are living in a different reality. There is sworn testimony to the hacking and meetings on the public record.

Oh I know "Fake NEWS"...."Believe me". LOL

..lol..All the rest the Norinco's ^^ :p Actually I just got my Norc.311 2day. Love it, along with my many other Norinco's. It will be a sad day when I can afford to really' upgrade them{all}..Ill prob still keep them {all}.

If you cant afford a Glock, what handguns do you own?

Glocks are expensive. You buy the gun and then have to buy things to get perfection. New sights, trigger, and barrel. Then buy a new slide or get the factory one milled. Have the frame cut, stippled, and add a magwell. So you're looking at thousands, just to realize it's still inferior and list it in the EE for the price of an Ed Brown 1911.

So true, I would trade citizenship in a heartbeat. Canada has absolutely nothing to offer except a fallacy safe haven that is riding off the backs of America. Canada could be alot better but it seems pussy is very strong in the genetics here. We also have the holier than thou gene, good example is how we pride ourselves on taking care of the world while we produce some of the dirtiest oil available. Our standard of living is taxed out the yin yang. We have some of the most boring geography in the world, yet think it's so great.

I've been born and raised here by true Canadians, I've travelled the world. It does suck lol! I envy you so much. There is no Canadian pride for a reason (only smugness), we dont even understand how to celebrate as a culture. Don't listen to the Trump bashers, they have no right to say anything, after all, we elected Steven Harper for 8 years.

As for Norinco. Child labor isn't my a concern of mine. I don't mind Norcs. Especially when they copy over priced products like the 226.

The Nork SIG's were clones at one time...but due to #### Chinese aluminum, they were not durable and suffered from frame cracking.
So they redesigned the locking block to act as part of the rail, made a few other changes, and now very few parts will actually interchange.

Talk is cheap. Just do it. No whining. No bellyaching. No justifications or excuses. Do it, or don't and STFU either way cause it is nauseating to hear you complain AND do nothing about it.

Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.

Neat tid bit of info. Not sure how soon this change you speak of was made. There's a post someone made compiling all the 226 Norc posts/info I was using for reference on them. I have one, haven't put anything into it yet not sure if I will, want e2 grips tho.

The 226 platform for me was a perfect example of why Norinco is relevant. I was on the edge on purchasing the 226 platform. Now I can try it for cheap and I still feel the same about it as before, (high bore axis(more recoil), and overpriced) but neat gun, not a fav yet, don't think I'd ccw a 226 if down south. Interestingly this is one of the only things we have over 'merica (trading guns with commies lol).

Sarcasm?

Here's mine. Bone stock except for sights. Still ticking after 30 years.

Has anybody found out why Glocks are so expensive? They use minimal parts, inexpensive materials and don’t require much fitting... the whole idea behind their creation. And they are priced up there.

This should get me some flaming
