I like the security that a pin provides as set screws can back out, even with lock tight. Also, it makes it easier to ensure gas port alignment when installing. At the minimum I hope they are dimpled for the set screws.

dimpled for set screw, and we suggest you loc-tight and stake it, this is what we do on all of our builds.

I sent you an email already, but figured I'd post here as well. For fun. I'm contemplating a low mass BCG/buffer... And would require an adjustable gas block to make use of it... What are the chances of a low-pro adjustable gas block instead of the one that comes with the barrels? I'd be OK with additional cost if that's what it would take.

Good eye, there are a few 18.5 in that photo. most are for testing and some are dealer samples.
Testing is going veery well. best group so far on the 18.5 is .678moa, don,t ask me how we got that number, my partner is the Eng P. i,m just the Gunplumber
