Hi,

I bought receiver from you guys and I just noticed that it does not have a hole for detent and detent spring for rear take down pin. What is going on here?

Have you also had an issue with the rear takedown pin not fully engaging with the notch on your NEA reciever? My rear pin is startlingly loose and I'm not sure what the issue is

These receivers are cerakoted and sometimes there is a paint buildup in some small areas. Pivot pin would also go in real tight on my receiver and I had the same problem with the takedown pin detent. Just push the detent with a pin punch or run the pin punch through the hole to clear any excess paint (or use a very small file, just make sure you don't screw anything up as you don't want the detent to go all the way through the hole). This solved the problem for me.

$10 micro file set from canadian tire has been an invaluable AR build tool.pretty much and lower I’ve built I’ve had to use it some way or another.
