OK, is it just me? Whats so cool about a few coloured bits on an AR? Looks different all right, but I'm not really digging it. Looks like it just has a few splashes of colour on it in assorted random spots. Modern art?

You're not the only one 8 ball. I don't get it either. A man can do anything that he wants with his firearm that he wants to. I get that. But what I don't get is why would anyone set out to turn their firearm into a replica of a prop used by a fictional character in a movie?

I’m a Stars Wars Junkie. Even everything after Return of the Jedi sucked. I still have to watch the franchise on opening night. It’s the same reason people why people build mk18s even though they are not operators. AR15 is the Barbie dolls for boys and who are we kidding most of us own AR15 cause it is an art piece and we own it for pleasure use and not for its orginal intended purpose.

I can assure you 8 ball it’s not splashes of colours in random spots. The mixing, shading, fading and layering of cerakote takes planning and a bit of vision.
