I got a literal METRIC S**T TON of parts, many-many-many I can not ID.

Here's the first lot of stuff I dunno what it is, if you can ID it please do, if you want it - make a fair offer & PM me.

id001.jpg

Not a clue - I found the exact same parts in an enfield kit labelled "peep site" - which it certainly is not. The reverse side of that plunger thing is flat.

id002.jpg
id003.jpg

Yes... it's obviously a level of some description, but appears to have some special use....? The globe moves freely & can be removed.

id005.jpg
id004.jpg

A Timney trigger!! but for what??!! no markings or model number, no other parts. the trigger is serrated like a 1903.... NO CLUE? how to tell?

id006.jpg

Top 2 are Swedish front bands, for M96 or possibly AG42, did not look close (do not care either) The bottom 3 are mystery bands.... no markings, no numbers.... who could guess?

id007.jpg
id008.jpg

I'm gonna say firing pins/assemblies - pretty safe on that.... but for what?? The one on the left looks awful damn familiar though!

id009.jpg

Firing-pin-palooza! All appear to be in good to new condition, top 2 sets of three are all the same, one of the ones on the right is missing a spring (and I am assuming these springs belong ONLY because they happen to fit & were in the same bin)

So I have a mother ass ton of crap going up in the EE shortly, Winchester parts, a Mod94 parts kit, Savage stuff 2 Savage kits, Rolling Block, Enfield stuff.... A lyman peep sight..... Win 1886 parts, ummm... more. Make sure you check it out soon!

Top pix. Item on left is bbl pillow block and spring (most likely incorrect terminology) for SMLE # 1. Item on left appears to be rear sight plunger and spring for Lee Enfield No.4. Mystery bands appear to be two mid bands for a Lee Enfield No. 1 and one for a No. 4

Yes, THANKS. I got a PM to that effect as well, model # is still in question. but I have 4 rear sights that I should match those plungers up to!

I managed to track down the Timney trigger myself - that is for a Mauser ... and compatible with my heavy barreled target M96 .... soooooo that's disappearing into my collection :)

The parts appear to be from a Model 10 Remington shotgun. Firing pin and shell lifter.

Firing pins-
First batch appear to be Marlin 336
Second appear to be Remington 58/870/1100
Third- Winchester Model 12
Fourth- I've seen it, and want to say Winchester again, but what..?
Fifth- Winchester 1200 series?
Sixth- Anschutz semi auto 22?
Seventh- Winchester Model 100 (original subject to recall)
Eighth- no clue

Number 8, maybe the Winchester recall firing pin?
If so........... I'd be interested in it.

Top three on the left are definitely Marlin 336 pins.

yes on almost all - I got a PM about it, confirmed most of them:

First batch appear to be Marlin 336 - YUP!
Second appear to be Remington 58/870/1100 - YUP!
Third- Winchester Model 12 - YUP!
Fourth- I've seen it, and want to say Winchester again, but what..? *
Fifth- Winchester 1200 series? - YUP!
Sixth- Anschutz semi auto 22? - I dunno, will check into it, still a mystery
Seventh- Winchester Model 100 (original subject to recall) **
Eighth- no clue **

* I have seen this one before too, it was in a Winchester 94 model, ground and force fit ... and it's really bugging me where it actually came from (come to think of it, it's probably in the scraps bin still!)
** Actually, they both appear to be Winchester Model 88 firing pins, old & new. Just from what I have seen on Google: http://www.gun-parts.com/winchesterrifle/

FUN STUFF!

PS> actually, the 'Anschutz .22" is a center fire pin ... soooooo sorry. prolly not for a .22 (it's also pretty beefy for a .22 pin)

Top three on the left are definitely Marlin 336 pins.

I've had several members say it is the 'recall pin' - so I am fully willing to admit an error. If anyone can point me to some specs, I can measure/mic it and say for sure.

Though I can also say for sure, another member has "dibs" right now pending identification of the 'mystery' pins. So I'll queue you up to second up fer it eh?

The #8 is missing the x pin if in fact it is the recall pin to make it effective.
Here's a photo of the recall firing pin assembly.
Not sure why it doesn't exact match your #8.
Could be weez rong?

I believe the flapadoodle on the left is a "carrier" for the Remington Model 10 or 10A shotgun. Its partner is the firing pin for the same gun.

That carrier is prone to failure. Handy thing to have. They've been out of print since the 1930's. :) Apparently Fleabay wants between $40 and $50 for one. Not sure about the firing pin.

A quick run through the posts to now, and I didn't see anyone mention the level.

If I am correct, it is an add-on level for a set of scope rings. The spacers allowing the level to be mounted over the top half ring.
