I wonder if anyone has come across a 5” GP100 in Canada?

IRG will also have them if you don't mind the wait.
I'm liking the new GP grips and the half lug versions.

Yes that was in 44 special. The 357 has the standard fluted cylinder for a more classic look.I agree on the half lug profile looking good but I'm not a fan of unfluted cylinders.
I can't believe they retail for more then S&W these days...
Only up here from some reason. Not in the US
who is importing ruger now? i think getting the name will give you the answer ...
I've got the 6" GP100 and it's a dream. I don't think I'd go down to the 5 or 4.2" barrels after having this.
I have the 4.2", I would not go longer lol. It's super accurate, recoil is not a problem, and it is balanced very nice.
HI; The original security six was well balanced and light. Too many people MAG shot them with ever load. SOOO the GP 100 was born and it is anvil strong and heavy.
Now a five inch is a good barrel length for 357. The less lug weight is good. The brass bead front sight is classic. The grips should be good.
AS to the no lug look, well some people have a python look hang up, even if they are not now or ever the best revolver around.
