It’s a Dlask DAR22 receiver with integral rail, Dlask bolt, Whistlepig 10” steel sleeved aluminum barrel (fluted and threaded), BX trigger with Brimstone magic done to it, along with auto bolt release and a extended mag release lever. That’s a Knoxx Axiom stock (pinned to disable the last two notches) and a Bushnell TRS-25 up top. It’s has a small extended charging handle and bolt buffer you can’t see.

OAL is 26.3” and weight loaded with a rotary mag is 3lbs 11 oz.

Obviously you could get a lighter receiver, a lighter optic, forego the charging handle, mag release, and get it down a bit more but this thing is pretty darn light.

Thank you!

I considered the 12” barrel but when I got the stock I realized that no one aside from a small child would use the shortest positions.

The barrel I had to get imported, I don’t think they’ve been brought up at the retail level for a long time. This was 9.9 oz on my scale so the weight difference to go to a 12” aluminum barrel is negligible, obviously steel is a different story.

Thanks for the info. This setup would be used by my kids so maintaining the smallest positions would be beneficial for them.

Out of curiosity who did the import work for you?

This was my 'light build'
stock receiver, TacSol aluminum barrel, BX trigger, SeeAll optic, Hogue stock, NoDac Spud open sites.

id have to go look up the weight, its been a while since the last 'light build thread' but i think it was 4lbs and change.

i like this build as im a big guy and i prefer the full size gun.

Nice job rommel. Curious, can you eject a magazine without removing your hand completely from the grip.
It looks like you would have to pinch the lever under the trigger guard, & pull down.

Look good, I think we both got a twin, lol.

Both are in Magpul stock. The takedown is 16.1 inch and the other is 12 inch barrel.

Cheers!

You're right. Missed that at first glance.

Does the 12" barrel have an extension or muzzle device? If so where does the barrel end without it?

I'm debating a 12" Magpul hunter stock build and I'm thinking I'll need to cut the stock back a little to work.

Yes, the 12 inch barrel has threading, the thread start at the end of front sight about 3/4 inch in lengh and without the Dlask's muzzle brake, you will need to cut the Magpul's stock if you want to.

The stock need a small dremel job to fit the muzzle brake, kinda look good that way.

Cheers!
