Bucket list for 2018

Planning on retiring and moving up north in the spring to our fly in outfitting camp to run it full time and finally do something very enjoyable for a change.
Providing we get the wifes health sorted out. Her big C may alter things a bit. She really wants the move.

Actually getting out.......

First house purchase in September followed by 2 months of renos killed any opportunity this past fall.

But if we’re talking Bucket List, I’ll kindly ask the hunting gods to shine a little light on my Lottery Ticket this year. By that I mean a Cowichan Rosie’ tag.

1:367 are decent odds........ right?.......right? :(

Mac Def SLR build, then take it coyote hunting.
Need a 12g so I want a DP-12
Shoot my MH long range, maybe even in comp.
Buy a new house. Hopefully an acerage with room to play.
Get the album finished with the band.
Enjoy my new job at home and make it to as many of the kids activities as I can, missed a lot over the last couple years.
Shoot more.

Life at home here is great, no changes; well maybe more gardening in the spring and summer. My biggest project on the list is to have a custom rifle built. Can't decide between the 6.5-06 or 257 Weatherby Mag. Second, is to scout hard to find a big mulie buck for my son, he has a 100% chance of being drawn this year.....dat's it, dat's all.

Finally build the addition to my house that my wife and I are talking about for years.
This will mean not much money for guns for a while but looking forward creating extra space so i can have a gun and reloading room:dancingbanana::dancingbanana:

Keeping my list within the context of CGN...I would like to continue/complete topping up my collection of firearms with a .257 Roberts, and a 7x57, and a 250/3000. Or any other interesting caliber below .270.

Still having a personal struggle with choosing a Kimber in .257 Roberts between the Classic Select and the Hunter. I keep hoping that a nice .257 Roberts shows up in the EE and solves my issue.

And I will just leave it at that....

Been a xhitty couple years, just hoping for steady employment and relatively good health. Now that I have apparently beaten cancer I just want normal

Recover from the economic fiasco that has hit Alberta. Helped my daughter and her husband buy a house with a substantial down payment, the next week after 35 years of gainful employment I was laid off and I'm playing catch up. I have a deal on the EE I need to deal with ,CFO is a #### and with getting sent out of town, Christmas and now long hours at work due to the long cold snap I just don't seem to be cutting it.

mr.e moose..................spring is coming.
Old paw use to say, "no matter how much rain, the sun will eventually shine".

Keep your chin up.
