How do you store your hunting gear

So I'll admit I'm a gear junkie. I have lots. Knives, optics, bipods, calls, you name it I have a ton of it. And archery gear is a whole other ballgame. What I'm wondering is how other people store it all. I was thinking about getting some different sizes of containers and putting them on shelving or get stackable bins or something. I just want a better system for organization and I could also use the same system for camping gear as well. Lockable would be a big plus. If I could get my hands on some old school lockers something like that might work.

I store all my hunting clothing in Bins with Fir branches inside and Barack boxes for the rest. They stack great and make loading the truck for camping a flash.

another bin user here...they are great if you store your gear the same every year then you know where every part of your gear is at all times....they are also a great way to to pack up the trailer to keep gear dry

I use plastic totes that have about 90 liters capacity. They are reasonably priced when bought on sale and keep everything inside nice and dry. I write with magic marker what is inside them and they stack on each other rather well.

However, if you need or want something that locks plastic totes are probably not the way to go.

Rubbermaid totes with a duct tape label, because sometimes they get emptied and used for other storage.
One tote will get labeled with "winter coveralls", and another will get the label of "wool hunting clothes".

So long as I keep on top of labeling and putting the kit away in the right boxes, keeping the clutter at bay isn't too hard. But then, I live alone, so I know where all of my stuff is without having to worry about it getting "laid away" with the nice people at Value Village.

My hunting clothes get a sandbag full of cedar shavings (hamster bedding) to keep the odours at bay.

i dont have a ton of gear, but if i combine all my hunting and shooting gear together i have a decent amount. i keep all my hunting clothes in a wardrobe, before the season starts i wash it all in baking soda and hit it with a uv light that creates ozone to kill the scents. some stuff i have in totes, but as for right now my hunting room is just getting started so everything's scattered on the floor in a huge mess.

I use Plano Sportsman totes. I have all different sizes and they are nice because of the lockable lids, tie downs and the XL models have wheels. They also fit on the back of my atv well. And they’re much sturdier than Rubbermaid bins.

I store all my hunting gear in the large black homedepot bins with the yellow lids...92L I think.
This is what I do too, then when I’m out hunting I always have at least one in the truck. They are wonderfully handy for all kinds of things. I quartered a bear and fit it into two of them. You can use it as a bucket or as a chair.

Hang it on the wall, put it on a shelf, lock the door of the shed to keep the wife and other varmints at bay. Wash it before deer hunting, other times grabit off the hook and go

I just hang everything in the garage on nails..... Couple of 2x4's screwed into the wall with nails (used as hangers) sticking out every 3-4 inches gets most of my gear up off the ground hanging. What doesn't or can't hang, gets placed on a couple shelves in the garage.... I have a bin that holds, junk, extra gloves, hats and very miscellaneous stuff.
