Where is the best place to get these ones?
BassPro has sales occasionally but Wal-Mart/Amazon have consistently been the cheapest.

Where is the best place to get these ones?
So I'll admit I'm a gear junkie. I have lots. Knives, optics, bipods, calls, you name it I have a ton of it. And archery gear is a whole other ballgame. What I'm wondering is how other people store it all. I was thinking about getting some different sizes of containers and putting them on shelving or get stackable bins or something. I just want a better system for organization and I could also use the same system for camping gear as well. Lockable would be a big plus. If I could get my hands on some old school lockers something like that might work.
Heaped in the basement so that I damn near need a plough to find anything.
Similarly, the spare bedroom has a pile of hunting clothes to sort through when needed.
Tomorrow morning for example, I'll go in there and in five minutes be suited up to go duck hunting.
rubber maid tots work well for me, duck tape labels and im good to go!
I like Painter's tape for my labels. Less sticky residue left behind and you can write on it with almost anything. (the fact I have some left over from an old summer job helps too lol)
Lots of good ideas so far. Keep them coming. Suther, I was storing my gear in a pack but now I have too many packs and each one has a different purpose. I have a bino pouch that has all my absolutely essential stuff that I need to take on each trip gear but the rest is kind of mission specific so to speak. In case anyone is wondering the essentials are:
Rangefinding binos
Folding knife
Predator call (many uses)
Windicator
Flagging tape
Paracord
Compass
Chap stick
Bic lighter wrapped in duct tape
Baby wipes
And a small survival kit in an altoids tin
This all goes in an Alaskan guide creations harness and is super comfy. My cell also fits in the top part and tags and licenses go in there when it's during a big game season. I'm currently looking for the perfect headlamp to stash in there as well.
I use Rough totes as well.
