Show off your short-barrelled CQB-PDW-style AR15s! (barrels 12" or under)

If others like the OP get their panties in a bunch I’ll remove. :p (Updated my first post to add an appropriate AR.)

Not jealous that I can leave this in the vehicle while I grab a beer on the way home from plinking are you? ;) Also, where's your shorty AR?

Included in case anyone didn't know about the joys of shorty NR AR wannabes.

You have an AR in the pics now so all is good.. You asked so I will post.

Care to explain??

Basically qc 10 lowers are missing the sp1 style cuts that make them "real ar15s" thus they're full auto and prohib. Stupid I know don't shoot the messenger.

If you search "frt" and "qc10" you should find a post by Marshall that explains it better.

Reason I know this is I was at reliables with my brother when he wanted to ask a question about registering his colt mag qc10 lower and the guy said it was prohibited. We came to find out later that the colt mag ones are not prohib yet but they still don't conform to the "new" regulations.

To prove it wasn't just local store bs he even printed off that page of the frt and showed me. Quarter circle 10 GSF aka glock small frame status prohibited.

Also to stay on topic I'll post a pic later of my 7" 7.62x39 ar

Hope this link works.

Not to hijack the thread, but with the QC10 if the owner says it's restricted, I assume that opinion would be shared by the CFO who issued the registration certificate. I wouldn't be surprised though if the prohibited stuff is true given the track record of how things are classified, just sayin'...

And if I find a second tomorrow I will contribute a pic or two myself.

Just do some searching about the change to what's considered a full auto I think there's a sticky maybe. Anyway the change in classification was made without notification because that's just how they roll.

Here have a gander. Look and see if your ar lower fits that regulation. Chances are your qc10 will not, and unless they changed it back it's a prohib now.

I think there was even an example given by marshal of ###### armory that a customer tried to register it was denied and then told the rcmp would come and get the lower then a cert showed up in the mail despite there not being a restricted frt

Here's my contribution:

It's a NEA pistol registered lower with a Norc 10.5" upper, Troy rail, flaming pig and is my keeper AR. I've always had a thing for SBRs, and that's why my SR22 is in the shot too. It's the only NR SBR that I can set up they way I like and keep it in the truck for impromptu bush sessions.
