CQBR / Mk18 Mod1 Clone thread - Show us your clones!

I have a couple of Mk18 RIS II in FDE if anyone is looking for them.

I was going to put them in the EE, but haven't yet gotten around to it.

I also have a Colt two position receiver extension and an A1 flash hider that I should put in the EE as well, when I get some time.

Regards.

Mark

I have called the gun dealer in NB and I was told they moved all the DD product to a warehouse and have no idea wear it is. I tried to buy 4 DD products, they don't seem to be to concerned with locating it for me.

Finally got this all mocked up. Now to put some paint to it. Doesn't really go in here but I thought it still fits in with the clone theme and it kinda is JTF2/CANSOFCOMS version of the MK18.

Oooh slick, we were just discussing this on the CRA clone facebook pages. Hope you're gonna try and match that reddish paint job posted a few pages back.

Did you machine off the grenade launcher recoil lug? I've been flirting with the idea of doing a similar build... but unsure if I can bring myself to take the lug off.

Looks bang on. Cheaper than $3200 for the upper...

The upper was built using the 11.6 barrel off of my mrr and putting it in an sas 10.5" upper. Milled off the grenade lug, built the correct ops Inc suppressor collar and assembled it all. The collar fits right on the 11.6" mrr barrel. No messing with it. Luckily I had a friend with the correct suppressor collar so I could make drawings to replicate it.
Just waiting on my black exps to put on there, tape everything off and giving it a fresh new look. Hopefully in a week or so. Will post pics when finished.
Almost forgot to give a shout out to Brad at Nordic. Always my go to for CC/Diemaco parts and always fantastic service. 99% of this setup came from his shop.
Thanks for the comments.
