Gun fires when bolt closes ? Boyds At-One stock

Today I recieved my brand new Boyd's At-One stock in the mail, very eager I put it on my rifle not once but twice, and upon closing the bolt the firing pin is released, having just changed the bolt handle i figured this was the cause and went through made sure it was okay, and it ,was took the rifle out of the stock and it functions fine, put it back into the stock and again the gun fires when the bolt goes off, any reccomendations to try ? thanks
 
For starters try inletting the stock so nothing is touching the trigger group or the trigger..
 
Make sure the trigger area is properly relieved inside the stock. Use markers to see if it rubs. Any contact between the trigger and stock can cause the sear to not properly reset, leaving the firing pin in the fired position after you cycle the bolt.
 
Had the same thing happen when I changed stocks on my bolt action .223.

Turned out to be the inletting was not deep enough around the trigger group. Once I dremelled some material out, it was fine.

I would contact Boyds first.

I figured it out, what happened is i installed an M* Carbo Trigger kit which included an overtravel screw, the screw threw off the clearance once i dremmelled out a tad it seated alot better and functions nice barrel is 100% free floating aswell, MUCH better,

Thanks all i thought that i could have been over tightening or somthing but was just touching appreicate responses
 
Boyd's stocks are usually pretty good but I haven't seen one yet that wouldn't benefit from a decent glass bedding job and pillars.
