**TYPE 81 7.62x39 Service Rifle** ~IN STOCK -NOW AVAILABLE!!!

There were many "bent" rifles, where receivers were not aligned with barrels. And many ppl including me had to return the rifles. Question to TI - will QC be the same or can we expect proper rifles this time.

Many? Out of 1000 rifles, I saw maybe 3 or 4 posted has a that had misaligned trunions.

This is not a new batch. Both shipments were made together in the same batch.

Cute. I mean which ones? I'm hoping spare safeties so I can mod one. A second stock set would be nice too, as would spare slings, pins, bolt and all screws.

Will consist of the following parts:
-Lower receiver springs , trigger springs etc
-Lower receiver pins
-Magazine catch release springs
-Front Sight Parts
-Rear sight parts
-Bolt
-Firing Pin
-Extractors and springs
-Pin for Firing Pin
-Gas System Parts
-Recoil springs and rods

Might change slightly though, they reneged on their pricing to us, but havent sent revised numbers yet :(

I personally know more than three ppl who got bent rifles, also - you saw the rifle I got? According to TI it was straight and they also said replacement would have the same "acceptable misalignment". With that kind of attitude they cam claim only three rifles were bent. So I trust voting results with about half of folders bent. I guess only examination in person would work with my current level of trust in TI statements.

We want these as much as you guys, we are "on the list" so to speak if a military production run happens we will have our versions produced. No idea when, these are a specialty model that is produced even less often than the regular type 81's

Parts kits. Barrels, furniture... no trunions. Make a combo deal with a fixed stock rifle. Do it yourself project for buyers.

I should probably just Google this for myself but can someone tell me what advantages/disadvantages this has over an 858? I imagine they are quite dissimilar in engineering but from a functionality perspective? Accuracy? Reliability? Better after-market parts?

858 is milled, 81 is stamped
858 has much better aftermarket support, 81 just landed less than 2 or 3 months ago, so parts are lacking
858 is more expensive, 81 and its mags are slightly cheaper
They are both about the same in terms of accuracy.
Reliability I have not had a single failure in either one.
Type 81 is a bit more front heavy than the 858.
The type 81's folding stock has a massive lead over the 858's wire stock (if folders is what you like)
The Type 81 scratches that AK itch. The 858 less so.
Big thing for me aswell is that a non-restricted Type 81 looks much less goofy than a long barreled 858.

Verdict: Get Both.

This probably has to be the best comparison I have read

From all the hate I read I can't believe another shipment is coming .

Most people understand that the hate is unfounded and spread by people trolling. These shipments will sell out fast. I enjoy my folder and will be ordering a fix as well. T-81 is a great addition to those collecting 7.62 rifles.

Can you have them add spare safeties please? Even if it costs more, many of us want a spare to do the 90 degree mod.
