12 ga reloaded slugs loads

do they make a 12 ga. slug, that does not need a wad? one that fits without one, that will engage the rifling on its own. I find the plastic wads foul the barrel.

You will need some sort of wad, but yes there are slugs out therer that can be used without the cup style wad.

You might be trading in the plastic fouling for lead fouling.
