Has anyone experienced the throw weight of D700 is slightly more/less with using bushings....what I mean by slight is in my Hornady Apex I can throw 17.0 grs all day, switch to D700 and now it is 17.5 grs....still is within my load development but a bit weird....just so you know,it is lot#11

Sounds like a 12 gauge shotshell load??? I have been thinking about using D700 in my own 12 gauge target loads , but have not yet heard of anyone who has tried yet. If this is the application, I would be interested in learning what you think of it as replacement for 700X.

Remember D700 is not a canister grade powder and is similar but not exactly the same as the 700X.

With the limited data from non casister grade D700, I would be very cautious, start my loads at 16 grs and work up from there, shoot 3 shells of each load over a chronograph till I achieved the velocity I wanted.
Too easy to over pressure shotshells, they don't give the same pressure signs as metallic reloading.
