Gday folks,
I recently took the Lever gun for a Walk, as I usually do in the Summer time.
built a hide last time, got a video on this hunt aswell which ill post up when its up.

walked this one up and shot it from acros the gulley about 50meters away, Ahole to Chest single hole with a 245gr Hardcast coated FN , 28 gr of AR2207 and Win 375 stamped Brass.
Model 94 Big Bore with a Williams peep sight.

Happy Days!

Well now you’re talking!! About time you posted a big bore 94 kill!! Awesome!! BTW I have owned two big bore 94’s myself. One I bought brand new in ‘87, a 356 and one off the EE in 307. Buddy of mine had the 375. He sure whacked alot of whitetails with it.

Let me know if you want me to lend you a Model 71 and a box or two of 200 grain silvertips to whack a few of them Sambars with?
Gramp killed 32 moose with it that he could remember and a dozen or so each of both whitetails and blacktails plus a wolf. Something exotic under her belt would make for a neat continuing history! :)

Mate, a 71 .348? they would be all time on Sambar, they are worth a mint down here though and very rare! I do see the odd one pop up but generally gone the next day!

silvertips held their own back in the day, some nice sambar antler would compliment such rifle, you should bring it over an hunt a sambar ;) A CGN -Australian Sambar deer Lever hunt

I'm really loving the 375winnie! I'm pretty sure my brass will last me out (unless it goes pig shooting often) otherwise I'm thinking the 30-30 brass will suit my loads fine for sure!
I do sometimes want others like the 307, 348s, 356, but with cast these days being available for hunting, the 375 does a great job!

Alrighty, now you're talking! Congrats on the success!

Isn't that 94BB an absolute pleasure to carry around in the bush? I've only had mine for not quite a year, and only had it out one day this past fall's hunting season, but what a handy little rig.

Looking forward to the video!
