Not trying to start a thing where people pile on about the things they dislike about SRFC or BCL....really just want to keep it about the rifle. I have money down for the next round of 102 and am curious if anybody has any thoughts about what, if anything BCL might change with the next round of guns or if the "gen 2" edition is the one they will be sticking with. This is more or less a wish list or rumour thread that I hope will not turn ugly.

The things I'd like to see changed, tabs behind hand guard removed, dust cover fitted properly, back to original design of shell deflector (the new design is hideous) and back to having after market charging handles working without modification. I'd be happy and pissed to see these changes happen. Happy because it'd make this rifle perfect (IMO), pissed because I'd still be stuck with a Gen 2.

how about just posting the specs of the rifle so that people can intelligently decide if they want to buy your out of spec crap.
takes 7.8 seconds to upload a pdf to a website
done

after that well make it work with:
after market ch
after market bolt
after market stocks
after market trigger
after market barrel
after market rails
after market xyz

Dont advertise a clear defect as a "feature", then when i do get my gen2 in my hand the "feature" is no longer there....so which one is it? Im talking about the ejection port size.

and better QC for sure...the fact that i couldnt even insert a mag due to the trigger guard going into the mag well is just insane...

other than that, stop changing crap....or at least document it if thats something you want to do.

We bought a second run of a BCL102, not a second generation.

but but they test fire each one right with federal ammo... how did they the mag in to test fire it?

its gen 2 bro, just face reality

well they are shipping rifles that were purchased in Spetember, I guess by the time I get mine it will be Gen4... ahahhahahah

Guys are still reporting crappy machining on the 102 FB page...lol...

i might cancel my order if it goes into March because thats way past the 6 months tolerance treshold

Not sure if they've changed this on the second gen but...

ROUND OFF THE CORNERS ON THE MAGWELL - THAT #### IS SHARP.

^ This... sooo +1

For anyone wondering, we're talking about this bit:

My biggest beef is the fact BCL has no ability to communicate with their consumer. They think they are so fu@king important that they can have an intermediary do all the PR work and take the heat. What to fix... communication, manual or spec sheet, stop changing sh!t on the rifle and not telling anyone.

I'm not surprised people are still waiting, but when I was b!tching about the shipping delays in December I was getting flamed by some for being sooooo unreasonable. If I was still waiting I'd be cancelling all together.

Having said that, the actual rifle, mine runs like a champ, accurate, and is a great rifle for packing in the bush.

some here always think that when someone complains that they are whining babies, others think nea-bcl is the second coming of Christ and to speak wrong of them requires an immediate burning at the stake.

I have half a mind to cancel. I think everyone is tired of SFRC blowing smoke. False promise after false promise.

I think it is obvious that BCL is facing production delays and perhaps setbacks.
Where that is, be it out of house manufacturing, in house machining, parts sourcing, or human resource issues is anyone’s guess.
I’ve run into the same issues on other high demand stuff, the most recent with some Fox coil overs for my truck that are about 3 months late.
It sucks but if you want it you need to be patient.

Well the Gen 3s are almost here :) just read SFRC post and they will come with ambi handles and they modified the upper to accept aftermarket CH

Guys on the third pre-order should have their rifles around this time 2020... If I don't have mine from the second order by February I'm cancelling.

Thanks for all the feedback, as annoying as some people find all the #####ing it does look like BCL is listening and making positive changes (as per ryan's latest update). Hoping mine will actually be delayed now to get the new charging handle and modification to the upper to allow for aftermarket ones. Just a reminder that this thread is rifle specific and not a place to vent about SFRC or BCL. Im very sympathetic to those who are upset in that regard but every 102 thread seems to get bogged down with that stuff.
