Svt 40 value

Just curious what an svt 40 goes for now days

Mine is a arsenal refurb with matching electro pencil serials throughout. I think Tula but not 100% sure since I don’t have it on hand at the moment.
Has the early muzzle break on it and a pinned not chopped mag.

I’m asking because a while back I saw them for 800 ish from lever arms. Which is where I bought mine 2 years ago for 325.

$600-700 depending on condition is what I'd say, more for a desirable year and arsenal.

They are very cheap in comparison ,the Trade Ex M1 garands sold fast at 2195 plus tax and shipping.Get one while they are still cheap .

I'd say they are about a 600 dollar rifle now a days for a standard Tula or Izhevsk. A podolsk will run you more.

Two different markets. A larger percentage of the great unwashed has access to internet sellers than to the EE.

Would also like to think that most CGN buyers aren’t dumb enough to buy an SVT 40 for $800.

I think $500.00 to $600.00 is fair nowadays.

I've seen a few at gun shows for $550, and at the end of the weekend they're still sitting on the table.
Not saying if I had an extra $550 kicking around I wouldn't buy one though.

Going to with russian refurb, im not 100% sure, bought it like 4 years ago an toss it in the safe, its 44, serial number is in 500s, its in a avt stock matching but the bolt an trigger guard is electrostenciled, no crossed out numbers, plum bolt .
