Hello, I am not familiar with Beretta.
I had made a trade for what I understand to be a Beretta 92 fs Inox

Transfer paper came in today.

the pistol was listed as Beretta 92 Compact Type M

Is this an Inox ?

Like I said, my first beretta and have no knowledge of them.

Cheers.

The description does not match the inox ,a compact is a shorter barrel a 4.3 inch instead of the full 4 7/8
the grip is shorter too ,,, basically in the description it is a 92fs however compact
Here is a picture of a compact inox above a full size 92fs blued

I just looked at the transfer paper and the picture of the pistol he emailed me.

the serial # on the pistol does not match the serial # on the cfo paper work. looks like he has some explaining to do!!!!!!

Type m will be a single stack as well

How do you #### that up......

As for the Inox itsef, hopefully you get the Italian made version as opposed to the American. They are much nicer looking. Although a Inox compact would be pretty sweet.

I contacted him. He accidently transferred the M
Yes the Inox FS is Italian made not U.S.

The type m is U.S. and 8 round single stack. Harder to find but I think I'd like the full size better

in Sask, I transferred 2 pistols, one is 12-6, both done in 2 days, more like a 1.5 days, what's with you guys down there?
So cfc contacted and adjustment made.
This transfer took 4+ weeks and now I'm told possibly another 4 weeks.
I'm annoyed ..... what a PITA
