Advice on disposal of old ammo

Do'h! And I shoot there!

Guess I just had it in my mind it was hazardous waste. Didn't think anyone would want it. The Mauser rounds are freeky lookin with that long thin bullet and whoever heard of a .22 whiz-bang? Ya OK, one of you folks out there have....

Anyway, not for LEO, I'll find a gunny.

ALL of us old guys remember the whiz-bangs...when I was a kid it was a symbol of independence. At any rate, glad you have a solution in hand.

Heck you have some cool old stuff . from what I can see all those shotgun shells will go bang. and the Whiz Bang shells well 2 boxes of a shot type shell that I can see and the other one might be 40 grainers or an older shot shell 22 round also. put those in a display case unless they are all corroded. and the one really old box of shells in front of the plastic tub what caliber are they ?you could take them to a local gun show and trade them off to a collector depending what they are. I see old Czech shotgun shells and some Imperial shells . and the 22s in the plastic container look like you could shoot them . the rest of them the loose shells . you can take them to a local show and trade them off to a collector along with that other box I mentioned in front of the plastic container for something you can use.

and if you don't want to bother yourself with going to the show and trading them off then take them to your target club and give them to someone who would appreciate them all.

Holy Cr@p!

Is any of this stuff collectable?

There is a guy trying to sell Whiz-bang and Imperial boxes for $40 each, I say trying because they will never get it.

I bought a pile of the Imperial gold box stuff for $4 a box, the one CIL box of rimfire you have there, hard to tell exactly what it is because of the glare but it is a little older. Canuck standard load, I shoot that stuff now, it always goes bang, no collectible value really there but neat on the shelf.

The individual ammo, may be worth something but not sure what is exactly there.

The box your talking about is 22 WRF Super Clean. No doubt to go with a very neglected Remington Model 12 CS that I also found. But that's another story....

I'm not looking to sell, not enough time or knowledge to do it properly. I have a local CGN / EMT who PM'ed first. Hopefully they have value for him.

That WRF has some conductibility, the Remington more so though.
