So the old board steals his IP, attempts to modify and clone it and then threaten to sue him for not giving them his code and you say hes shaking down the board? did you miss any meds recently?

We have only ever heard one side of the story moj prijatelj. One should never believe everything one hears. Stories gather embellishments with age.
 
Shot IPSC for many years. Myself and several others left due to the inability to sign up for matches.
We now practice amongst ourselves.

Understand IPSC doesn't need more shooters, overloaded as it is. Envious position to be in.
If you could count how many left for this simple reason, I feel the IPSC board would be shocked.

There is an easy solution to that. Start running matches - give back to the sport.

Have done for many years, Provincial NSSA skeet competitions, official Referee as well as managing and operating smaller regional competitions. Beginner courses at no expense to help expand NSSA skeet, Club pistol courses, RO training as well as BOD work, expanding club operations and CFO engagement.

Matter of fact, I'm at the club tomorrow at 8am to help unload the 18 wheeler target truck for our club and then dealing with the restricted course orientation.

Your response sums up much.

Never had issues signing up, sure you have to wait but the only real issue is there are too many shooters for too few matches.
Pretty sure the triangle match signup went smoothly-and quickly however.

Fix the website and guess what’s the next thread title?

Why are match spots gone in 3 minutes???

And on and on it goes.

....and I get questioned on why it’s frustrating? I am not alone.

Umh... which part of that is related to ipsc that you quit? Admit it to yourself, you didn't lime it that much or else you would have stayed. I know why I stayed and still doing things to the sport far beyond my local club.
 
Wow. Is there going to be a season ending cliffhanger soon? It's too bad that this drama can't stay on the IPSC site and it has to spill over where all us common folk is!
 
nah it's good to have it here. Sometimes it takes the exposure to get things done. Hiding this stuff away from people just ensures it continues. Look at IPSC BC and the crap we've had to put up with over the years.

So wait...you have multiple websites and forums that only IPSC members have access to (provincial, Canadian and Global Village or whatever that is called) and you still want to go on a public accessable forum because #####ing and chewing and airing half stories and half truths is going to get things done. Interesting...

This thread should stay open...it’s not violating any forum rules and cgn doesn’t and shouldn’t close threads simply because an issue can be discussed on another forum

If you’re unhappy with what’s being discussed, feel free to turn off your computer

You just made my point, when did you become ipsc.on As i can't do it in 1s an 2s and i only speak english here goes. " What i was referring wasn't even your Post" It was getting back to shooting, My point was once this issue is cleanedup another one will happen.
 
I just asked one seemingly "simple" question, but it is clear that this is huge sticking point. I have volunteered for a number of organizations, and even though politics and bureaucracy have ran through all of them, at the end of the day, we knew we were accountable to our membership (and at times, the public), so we hunkered down and got things done.

I'm not sure why this topic is being approached in such an emotional way.We all work or contend with people we find frustrating. But it's not about just you and someone else. You are working for/serving a populace of people, and honestly, you are acting like little Trumps right now. Bury the past, use some logic, and let's move forward.

Listen, I reckon most members went through the entire IPSC process to have fun and leave the daily bullsh!t and bureaucracy behind, even for that small time of active shooting. I'm sure that all BoD members started for the same reason.

Holster those firearms, and spend the time developing a solution so that we can move forward, rather than spending time bashing fellow-shooters.
