P320 Voluntary Trigger Upgrade

Pistols coming back to owners in the US after the upgrade are including a voucher for 25% off their next sig purchase. I wonder what they'll do for us up here?

I have 2 P320's. I will take 50% off an X5 for my inconvenience.

Almost makes me want to grab a few more that are being fire saled over in the EE for a free X5. :d

Hey Green75 yes we can send you a sticker. To all 320 owners the process will start in January and we will post as soon as we are ready. Thank you all for your patience.

I recently purchased a P320 from an individual who purchased this firearm from a Canadian dealer. He did state he registered for the trigger upgrade. Should I just go ahead and re-register the gun, or provide details so his registration can be revised to have new owner's information...?

We could look at it at anytime for you. Email sigrepairs@mdcharlton for the warranty return form or pm your email and I will send you the form

Awesome!

I'm sure there's a lot of moving parts on a project this big and complicated, thanks for making sure this gets done right and for keeping us updated.

The program in the USA has been going for a while.........why are we waiting?

So this is my understanding, could be wrong:

The logistics of exporting the pistols to the US and then re importing them after repairs would be a nightmare, so MD is working on a solution that brings the technical folks and equipment to Canada to do the work here without needing to export/import.

You can imagine that takes a bit of time and effort to put in motion. Hence the wait.

I love how words like "soon", "shortly" and "imminent" usually mean hours or days in the real world yet in "Canadian Gun World" they mean months, years or maybe never. ;)

No word yet. I think I was one of the first to sign up. In the meantime shoot your P320 and have fun instead of worrying and complaining about the timeline. It still one of my favourite pistols! I’m sure it’s not easy to plan a mass firearms shipment across the border while keeping them all in order and then returning them.

As I recall, the plan was to keep them all in Canada and to have machinery brought up here for a time period until the pistols were completed.

Definitely still shooting it and having fun but, I use this pistol in Production and the season is under way and I would like to know, as many others, what is going on.
