Recent ammo pricing trends?

The "specialty" rimfire ammo like .17 hmr hasn't come down at all (except Tenda). In the wild at the LGS still north of $20 a box.
I have noticed .223 and 9mm have crept down a bit.

I had the choice of adding a 17hr barrel to my CZ and decided it just was not worth my while for the small advantage it gave me

Prices got lower. i am stuck with 12k OF VARIOUS AMMO AND NO ONE IS INTERRESTED... Say A lot about the poor market...

Give it some time you'll recover the cost

Yeah, that deal they had on the 300 round can of .45 auto was unbeatable. Picked up 600 rounds for $250 . Just waiting on the rebate check for $60 USD.

Damn....I missed the deal/rebate and they're a small Starbuck's drive away!

There's powder available here, order online from Ontario. But you may have to dig deep in your pocket.

Its after christmas....nothing is selling. Plus you made it one big lot, with many calibers》》》and a single big price tag, only local sales. Break it into small lots, ship it, or your stuck with it.

Thats a pretty good price for 45, I was paying about .55 cents a round last summer.

They still have the 300/45 for $124 , just no federal rebate I believe

Thanks for the heads up, I'm just getting started on reloading a 1000 rounds. I have enough powder and primers in stock from a previous purchase when prices where lower, and I just picked up the bullets at .16.2 cents each. I'm good for a little while as far as shooting but will keep my eyes open for the sales to replace the components or finished ammo.

Yup. And like most things, you are probably not going to recoup your full price and even then it can take awhile with ammo.
