What’s the scoop on those ? They are supposed to be a very limited edition M9.

Green handle, marked M9 US army on the slide.

Are they really that collectible ? Is there a market for those ? What are they worth ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

In my experience anything that is produced specifically to be collectible usually isn't.
 
'The M9A1 is still in production though god knows when the next run will be done. If I have the funds if and when they become available I would be chasing it in a heart beat. If you are ex US forces you might want a M9 for sentimental reasons other than that for a shooter the 92FS would be a better buy assuming the M9A1 doesn't magically fall from the sky.
