Hey, does anyone know a place that stocks Sig parts up here in Canada that I can purchase from?

I need to replace the extractor (short style) and get some springs for my 226. I called my local shooting centre and they said “they didn’t think they had them in stock” and they told me to call MD Carlton and order them there. I called MD and they were super nice and gave me part numbers but said they don’t sell direct. They then told me to call “my local shooting centre” and order the parts from them. So I called my LGS with the part number this time and now they say they don’t know if they can order them and to email their “parts” email. So I’ve done that and now they aren’t replying to my email.

Long story short..... Is there a dealer up here that I can get parts from or should I try and order from brownells?

Thanks,

Drail

We can order them for you. Send an email to: training@wgtconsulting.com with the parts you want and we will help you out!

Highly recommend getting whatever parts you need from Numrich Gun Parts Sir.
As long as it's not an export controlled part (sears, barrels and receivers mostly), it's hassle free and you will save large amounts of money. Canadian dealers (not all but most) hose us hard on markup.
See here:

There's your factory sig extractor spring for $6 US (part 872760A)

There's a gad of spring in there. You can likely replace every single spring in your gun plus some other critical parts ie factory OEM firing pin for $22 US!:

If there's a part you need and they can ship it, buy it there. Canadian parts prices are highway robbery.

Cheers!

Did Numerich drop their shipping rates or are they still around $35-40US shipping to Canada?

Depends what you order.
Last time I ordered a small parts pack when I was doing a refinish and rebuild of an old Model 12 Winchester.
The shipping was $17 US but all the parts fit in a padded envelope.
Seems to depend on the package but it is no longer flat rate fee now. The lady on the phone explained this to me as well.
The parts I bought with shipping and conversion came to $102 CAD.
About half those parts in Canada would have cost me $150. US price for a Model 12 firing pin: $20. Canadian price: $60
That was about the average on all the rest of them too.....

Even if it ends up costing me the same price with the shipping as it would to buy it in Canada I still buy from Numrich just as a f**k you to the 500-600%% markup on parts we get bent over for by dealers up here.
But I'm a spiteful bastard so you're mileage may vary

Ordered some pistol springs from Numrich and shipping was $20 USD

There's also Questar (a sight sponsor) for SIG parts

That's about what my last order was ($17 USD shipping I believe).
Numrich rocks!
They're the Rockauto of gun parts for me now that their ship rates have dropped even lower.
OP, the only thing you will be forced to get ripped off on in canada is barrel, receiver , some bolts (though most bolt parts are good to go) etc due to export issues from the US side of the border.
