Sparc is smaller and lighter, 2moa dot as compared to the Strikefire 4moa dot, strikefire comes with cantilever co witness mount, both are fine optics, Sparc is more versatile for use on shotguns, pistols etc, whereas the Strikefire is more suited to the AR platform only. Both come with Vortex lifetime warranty and the Strikefire also has both red and green dot, Sparc is red dot onlyI have a question on this old revived thread....
Can someone tell me what the difference is between Vortex's Sparc II and Strikefire II? Is there a different application for each? I've never owned a red dot sight, but I'm researching my options to put on a entry level AR.

No problem, I would also suggest looking into Holosun Optics, I have switched from Vortex to Holosun and they are a great optic with realy nice features, 50,000 hr battery life, auto turn on ( move the rifle and scope turns on) fantastic crisp 2 moa dot on the 400 series, and a 2moa dot/65moa circle on the 500 series. Also most have solar power, and they are on par price wise with the Vortex red dots and a hell of a lot lighterThank you for the info!
